Oliver Brooks (he/they) is a Ph.D. student in English with a focus in Creative Writing (Poetry). Originally from Florida, he holds both an M.F.A. and B.A. in Creative Writing from Florida State University. His poetry appears or is forthcoming in Prairie Schooner, Pinch, Cream City Review, Variant Literature, New Delta Review, Up the Staircase Quarterly, and elsewhere. His research interests include queer theory, translation, sci-fi studies, and the pedagogy of creative writing.
