Rowan Havranek is an M.A. student and alum of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her concentration in Literary and Cultural Studies is the result of her education, experience, and interest in the social sciences, teaching and mentoring, and editing and copywriting. In the future, she hopes to work in a publishing house where she can advocate for and pursue authorship that represents minority cultures, identities, and ideas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her rescue dog Loki, traveling, visiting her parents and friends in her hometown (Ravenna, Nebraska), and baking sweet treats.
